Book signing in Woking

I joined forces with other local authors to run a book signing event at local independent bookstore Lionsheart. It was my first book signing - and I sold ALL my novels! Oh, and met the Mayor!

Saturday July 23rd a group of local Woking authors and I held a joint book signing at local independent bookstore Lionsheart.

We gathered at 1:45pm and set up for a 2pm start.

This was the first time I had participated in an in-person book signing, and to be honest, I was nervous.

  • How many novels should I bring?
  • What do I wear?
  • Should I invite friends?
  • Will anyone come?

Classic overthinking. Thankfully once the day arrived I felt calm and prepared.

And I shouldn't have worried!

People came, friends brought flowers. I mingled and chatted, signed book after book after book, enjoyed a non-alcoholic 'Pimms' and generally had a blast!

Signing my novels!

The local Mayor popped by to show his support and even bought my novels.

By 3pm I had sold and signed every novel I had brought and Lionsheart asked me to supply them with more for the customers who missed out.

We wrapped up and headed to our local for a drink and debrief.

Thank you to my fellow authors Mal Foster, Greg Freeman and JRC Cox for being part of such a wonderful event. And thank you to Patrick from Lionsheart for having us and for your wonderful promotion and support.
